Will we really have input into the look, application and focus of this site?
Absolutely. That is what this site is all about. It is about your desires and needs. And it is not limited to this site. It's about you taking a more active role in your future and the future of many speicies. Even for those that have not decided that hunting is best for them, they can share their concerns and find information that is relevant to their decision. Our hope is that every young individual that comes to this site finds a new appreciation for hunting and the great outdoors and contributes to the conservation effort that has been so successful to date.
What is the purpose of this site?
We felt that there was a gap in communication with this new generation that needed to be filled. Obviously there is a lot of information out there where the big organizations give their thoughts on things but there really is no forum where this new generation can provide their insights, feelings and concerns about the future of hunting and conservation. We decided that it was time that changed.
What do you expect members to gain from this site?
Other than being a site where you can learn new things, upload hunting and outdoor videos, find jobs and careers in conservation and other outdoor areas, establish new relationships with other young hunters and many other activities, this is a site that is all about you. We hear about this new generation being the green generation. We know there is concern out there for the environment and the future of all species and we wanted to provide another outlet where kids and young adults can get involved. We are hoping to help bring the next generation of hunters and conservationists a forum for which they can be heard. Hunting risks being perceived as your father's pastime and we want you to help define it as your pastime and define it your way. It doesn't have to be done sitting in a tree stand or waiting in a blind. There can be an entire adventure built around this wonderful and important sport. It is now yours to define. We can't wait to see where you take this.
